These have two 11 GA Flanges at 90 degree angles
High-carbon rail steel with a tensile strength of at least

This high quality steel gives the posts more strength per weight than the average steel posts used for fences.
Black Posts with 5/16” holes punched out

Ground Support Posts make installation of taller posts much easier!
The purpose of this steel angle post is two fold.
It comes with 2 nuts, 2 bolts, and 2 washers(when the 8ft posts are also ordered at the same time).
The idea is that this post increases the total height of your fence to the height of your other post.
This post is the only post that is pounded into the ground.
Due to its short height it is the easiest to pound, wobbles the least and requires no step ladder, etc. to reach.
You pound 24-
36 inches
into the ground, depending on soil hardness, frost depth, etc.
Then put your
8’
tall or higher post right next to this
4’
Ground support Post.
Match up the flanges of both posts so that the flange with holes meet on both posts.
The bottom hole on your tall post gets a bolt, nut and washer and should be right above ground level on the
4’
post.
The other bolt, nut and washer then is used at the top of the
4’
post again into the hole on the tall post it matches.
I just placed some of these poles for a deer fence in my yard and the 4ft Ground Support Posts made the job very easy,
it would have a lot harder to pound the 8ft posts directly into the ground.
