There is no visible wear or fading on any of the drums or fittings but you will find some chips in the paint on both bass drum hoops.     Description

    Open to International Bidders!! This No Reserve auction, is for an absolutely stunning, beautifully preserved 2004 Drum Workshop "Collector's" series 4-piece drum outfit.
    This drum set was formerly owned by Bob Gatzen, a professional drum & percussion design consultant who worked with Noble & Cooley, EVANS, Zildjian, Simmons and lastly, Drum Workshop. Bob hand picked these four drums at the DW drum factory in California. They are custom finished in blue & white "hot rod flames" lacquer finishes.
    As you can see, for a set nearly twenty years old, they are in fantastic condition. There is no visible wear or fading on any of the drums or fittings but you will find some chips in the paint on both bass drum hoops. There are also just a few light surface dents in the bass drum on the sides but they are almost invisible.
    This drum set spent most of it's life sitting in the personal sound laboratory of Bob Gatzen and it is clearly featured in a number of his YouTube drum videos.
    Sizes are: 18" deep x 20" wide bass drum (serial # B237512), 12.5" deep x 14" wide floor tom-tom (serial # B225487), 7" deep x 10" wide tom-tom (serial B225485), 5" deep x 8" wide single-headed concert tom-tom (serial # B225484).
    Each drum is constructed out of multiple all-maple plies. The interiors are factory sealed and finished in natural maple.
    There is a manufacturing date of APRIL 15, 2004 stamped into the inside of each of the drums.
    The tom-toms are designated as "B" for the 14" and 10" models and "G" for the 8" drum.
    A pair of DW clamp-on tom holders are included with this drum set along with three DW black gloss powder coated floor tom legs.
    Each drum is outfitted with all of
    its
    original DW metal fittings and are free from
    modifications.
    All of the parts are factory finished in gloss black powder coat and are amazingly well preserved!
