Once the water repellency (DWR Durable Water Repellency) of your garments has worn out, you can restore it with a waterproofing treatment. Mountval Textile Shield is a hi-tech spray-on waterproofing solution that makes your clothing and gear waterproof without impairing breathability. Suitable for climatic membranes like GORE-TEX and others.
HOW IT WORKS? Mountval Textile Shield has been designed to restore the water-repellency of your wet weather clothing while maintaining breathability. It is extremely easy to use, just spray on and leave to dry. You use it once you feel that the water-repellency of your garment has worn off. It has a pleasant smell as it is no solvent. Spray on waterproofer is handy if your garments are too sensitive to apply a wash-in waterproofer.
WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR? Mountval Textile Shield is best used with any kind of waterproof clothing and gear. Works great with climatic membranes like GORE-TEX.
HOW TO USE? Hold the bottle around 15 cm (6 inches) from the jacket. Spray evenly the outer surface. Wait for a minute and remove any excess with a damp cloth. Leave out to dry and enjoy your next hiking adventure. It does not change the color of your garment. If your garments are dirty, remember not to wash them with a laundry detergent but with Mountval Wash & Care or any other gentle wash-in solution for wet weather clothing The product is safe both for your clothes and for you, it meets the highest safety standards.
